The Timco Classic Yellow Multi-Purpose Screws are suitable for use in a variety of materials, including hardwood, MDF, chipboard, plastic and thin sheet metal. These screws have a number of features that mean they perform consistently between materials and offer exceptional holding power;
- 25° sharp point
- Double countersunk head to reduce the likelihood of head shear
- 40° deep single coarse thread for a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- Patented lubrication for enhanced screw insertion and higher corrosion resistance
- Surface hardened to prevent torque shearing under load
- Single slash on 25mm+ sizes to reduce torque and the likelihood of timber splitting when inserting the screw close to the edge

- Recess type – PZ (Pozi)
- Made from yellow zinc plated carbon steel
- Corrosion rating 2 – occasionally damp/wet, rural and sheltered areas
- All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded
- Sizes 80mm and over have partial threads with a thread length of 70mm
